La progresión de la energía fotovoltaica resulta imparable. Y como ejemplo basta el dato de que el 70 por ciento del consumo que tiene la capital segoviana en un año equivale a la que se produce en estos momentos en uno de los huertos solares instalado en sus inmediaciones.
La irrupción de las energías limpias representa una tendencia asumida por todos. Pero la llegada de la guerra en Ucrania ha acelerado el proceso. Aspectos como la protección ambiental o la necesidad de ser menos dependientes del exterior han pisado el acelerador en esta carrera de la nueva revolución energética.
A todo ello se sumará la energía que, aunque todavía sea pequeña en términos cuantitativos, sigue creciendo, como es la de autoconsumo. Gran parte de ella utiliza las cubiertas de las construcciones para colocar los paneles. Algunos de estos proyectos más grandes los han promovido empresas con grandes naves, como Drylock u Ontex, que gastan mucha energía para su actividad fabril cotidiana.
